7percent Ventures is a pre-seed and seed stage venture capital firm founded by ex-founders with over 10 years of investing experience as angel investors and VCs in both the U.K. and U.S. The firm has invested in over 150 startups and more than 240 founders, whose portfolio companies have collectively raised $2.3bn in follow-on capital. Investments are made through 7percent Fund 1 (founder personal capital, direct investments and SPVs) and 7percent Fund 2 (an Enterprise Capital Fund backed by the British Business Bank). The firm focuses on backing determined founders building breakthrough, sector-defining technologies and products in areas such as spacetech, defence, air and space, AR/VR, and future/quantum computing, exemplified by portfolio companies like MAGdrive, Oculus VR, and Universal Quantum.
