Description
AILayer is a Bitcoin Layer2 solution focused on AI-driven modular construction, combining Bitcoin mainnet security with an EVM-compatible PoS chain. Its architecture synchronizes block headers and bridge transactions between Bitcoin and the Layer2 network using a full validator set, Schnorr signatures, and Tendermint consensus, enabling secure cross-chain interaction between Bitcoin, BRC20 inscriptions, and the EVM ecosystem.
On top of this base layer, AILayer operates an AI Service Layer 3 featuring a community-driven model library (described as a 'Web3 Hugging Face') and specialized subnet networks (such as NLP and CV subnets) that cater to different AI models. An AI Protocol Controller, composed of smart contracts, manages prover registrations, miner activities, subnet operations, and reward distribution, while a Q&A Evaluation Protocol allows provers to assess miner service quality. The native AILayer token is used for staking, transactions, and querying AI services, and the project serves provers, miners, and users seeking decentralized AI compute and Bitcoin-based AI infrastructure.
