snarkOS is decentralized node software for zero-knowledge applications that verifies transactions and stores encrypted application state in a publicly verifiable manner for the Aleo network. It supports validator nodes participating in AleoBFT consensus, client nodes that maintain and validate the ledger, and prover nodes that solve the Aleo puzzle. It also provides a command-line interface, REST-server options, telemetry and metrics support, and local development-network tooling.
