Description
Anu Initiative describes its mission as providing for those that provide for Mother Earth, with a vision of sustaining an ecosystem where community kindness creates lasting positive impacts for the planet through ecologically-conscious charities. The organization operates as a DAO with a treasury and proposal system, and is incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee in the Republic of Ireland. It is pursuing registration as a charity with the Irish charities regulator and a VASP/MiCAR license from the Central Bank of Ireland. Its roadmap includes developing an MVP, launching its product on the Polygon main-net, running awareness campaigns, and enrolling impact partners across categories such as CO2 sequestration, renewable energy, wildfire and disaster resilience, ecology R&D, recycling, water and marine conservation, and land/biodiversity conservation, using an Ecological Benefits Framework (Air, Water, Soil, Biodiversity, Equity, Carbon) instead of relying solely on carbon markets, ESG scores, or SDGs.
