Description

ApeWorX maintains the Python devtooling stack for Ethereum developers, researchers, and protocol teams. Its flagship product, Ape Framework, is an easy-to-use Web3 development tool that lets users compile, test, and interact with smart contracts within a single command-line session, supported by a modular plugin system for multiple smart contract languages, chains, and developer tools. Silverback SDK, built on top of Ape, enables developers to create Python bots that respond to blockchain events in real time. ApeWorX also stewards foundational Ethereum Python libraries, including web3.py — the most widely used Python interface library for Ethereum with over 4 million monthly downloads — keeping them maintained, documented, and aligned across the broader developer ecosystem. The collective is open-source, community-driven, and focused on providing long-term public-good value to the Ethereum Python ecosystem.
