Description

Arkis is a permissioned CeFi+DeFi prime brokerage protocol that allows institutional lenders and borrowers to facilitate the most capital-efficient credit transactions in crypto. It reimagines the traditional prime brokerage model by bringing the necessary infrastructure on-chain, enabling individuals to act as Prime Brokers and access high-yield opportunities. The protocol provides software for investment managers to analyze risk and access information for cryptocurrency funds, without executing trades itself. It connects "Lenders" who provide liquidity for passive yield with "Asset Managers" (Borrowers) who need capital for trading. A core feature is the "Margin Account," a smart contract where traders deposit collateral to receive under-collateralized leverage from liquidity pools, enabling a seamless trading experience on whitelisted protocols like Curve or Uniswap.
