Description

Auctus is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that brings on-chain options to the ecosystem. The protocol allows users to trade options that are transferable, fungible (as ERC-20 tokens), and ready for further DeFi integrations. Key features include Flash Exercise, allowing holders to exercise options at any time before expiration. The platform is non-custodial, ensuring users maintain control of their funds, and eliminates counterparty risk with fully collateralized positions. To ensure security, the protocol's smart contracts have been audited by Open Zeppelin, and an ongoing bug bounty program is in place. The native token, AUC, is integral to the network's success, with 50% of platform fees used to buy back AUC and the other 50% used to provide liquidity on decentralized exchanges (DEXs). The team has experience in software development and finance, applying an agile approach to deliver DeFi products.
