Basic Dog Meme is a meme coin project ($DOG) that launched on the Base blockchain on July 13, 2023, positioning itself as the first meme coin on Base. The project distributed 50% of its token supply through a public airdrop to anyone bridging ETH to Base, which helped drive early growth and new user activity on the Base network. $DOG has a partnership with Aerodrome, the largest DEX on Base, allowing holders to farm $AERO tokens via ve(3,3) tokenomics by providing $DOG/WETH liquidity.
