The metasystem comprises a core asset exchange, a translation layer, and an interface layer, forming a comprehensive infrastructure for trust-minimized commerce. It serves as credibly-neutral, minimally-extractive foundational infrastructure for commerce within the agentic economy, sitting alongside MCP for connecting to tools/data and A2A for agent communication. Boson Protocol locks-up funds in smart contracts using an efficient optimistic assumption of transaction success, with disputes being mutually resolved or escalated.
