Bright Moments is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that curates and produces in-person (IRL) minting experiences for generative and AI artists, aiming to bridge the digital and physical art worlds. Originating in Venice Beach, it has established a global presence with galleries in cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, London, Mexico City, and Tokyo. A central element of their project is the CryptoCitizens collection, a series of 10,000 generative art NFTs by artist Qian Qian, which also serve as membership passes to the DAO. The minting process is a key part of the experience, as it happens live at their galleries, often using the minter's wallet address as a source of entropy, thus creating a unique PFP tied to an individual, place, and time. Beyond CryptoCitizens, Bright Moments also features other collections like "100 X 100" and hosts an Artist in Residence program.
