Description
BrightID is a public good, privacy-first social identity network that enables proof of uniqueness for online users, protecting integrated applications from Sybil attacks. Users onboard via a mobile app, connect with others, and can receive verifications such as the Meets verification by meeting a host at a connection party. The network does not record personally identifying information and is designed to be accessible and open to everyone. BrightID serves web3 and public-good projects such as Gitcoin, RabbitHole, Aragon, Giveth, and clr.fund, providing sybil resistance for use cases like quadratic voting, quadratic funding, token distributions, and fair access to online public spaces.Grant Funding
