Byzantine Finance

Byzantine is an open, decentralized platform and trustless restaking layer that serves as an institutional gateway to digital assets. It allows curators, institutions, and developers to create custom restaking strategies, deploy them as isolated vaults, and integrate them into existing services. The platform separates risk management from infrastructure, enabling protocols and DAOs to build on its flexible architecture.

Description

Byzantine is an open, decentralized, and trustless restaking layer that allows for permissionless strategy creation and yield generation. It enables curators, institutions, and developers to create custom restaking strategies, deploy them as minimal, individual, and isolated vaults, and integrate them into existing services or build new ones on its flexible architecture. The protocol standardizes interaction with various restaking protocols through its vaults. Users mint vaultshares upon depositing assets, which can be traded, leveraged, or used to build custom services. The platform separates the risk management 'strategy layer' from the 'infrastructure layer,' allowing any protocol, DAO, or individual to build on its infrastructure. All vaults are independent with fully segregated funds, isolated risk, and are not affected by governance, ensuring maximum security and user control over assets.
