CargoX provides the CargoX Platform for Blockchain Document Transfer (BDT), enabling secure creation and exchange of electronic trade documents such as bills of lading, letters of credit, and certificates, supporting over 65 document types. The platform uses the public Ethereum blockchain to register documents, transfer possession, and create audit trails, combined with military-grade encryption for data, identity, and trade secret security. It is accessible via a web app or integrated into corporate/government ERP systems through a REST API, and is used by governments, transport & logistics companies, and trade finance entities worldwide. CargoX was the first in the world to transfer an electronic bill of lading on blockchain, in August 2018, and is legally headquartered as CARGOX d.o.o. in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
