Description
Proof of Innocence is a protocol/tool developed by Chainway that sits on top of privacy pools such as Tornado Cash, allowing users to demonstrate their funds are 'innocent' (not derived from illicit activity) without disclosing their identity or deanonymizing themselves. It applies game theory so legitimate users can vindicate themselves while bad actors are expected to avoid the pool, addressing the problem that all users of a privacy pool risk being wrongly associated with bad actors within it.
