Chonks
Chonks is an NFT PFP project featuring customizable, fully onchain characters on Base. Using ERC-6551 Token Bound Accounts, each Chonk holds its own swappable Traits as separate ERC-721 tokens, which holders can equip or remove at will. Chonks serves NFT collectors and onchain creatives who want to collect, customize, and trade pixel/voxel avatars and their traits.

Description
Chonks is a PFP (profile picture) NFT project built fully onchain on Base, using the ERC-6551 Token Bound Account standard so each Chonk character NFT can hold and manage its own collectible Trait NFTs (separate ERC-721 tokens) that can be put on or taken off at any time. All pixel and voxel data for both 2D and 3D versions of Chonks and Traits is stored onchain and permissionlessly accessible. The team built the Chonks Studio, an online tool open to everyone for creating custom Chonks, with approved Creators able to deploy Traits for sale as part of official future seasons; a companion Ztudio tool supports 3D design. Because leading NFT marketplaces don't support the token-bound-account architecture Chonks relies on, the team also built the custom Chonks Market for buying and selling Chonks and individual Traits.
