Climate Emergency Centres

Climate Emergency Centres (CECs) is a UK-wide project that establishes vacant properties as community-run 'Eco Centres' to build resilience and take action against the climate emergency. Each self-funding centre is autonomous but part of a wider interconnected network sharing skills, resources and knowledge. Its typical audience/clients are local community groups, volunteers, councils and property owners across the UK.

Description

The Climate Emergency Centres (CECs) project enables the development of self-funding Eco Centres that bring together diverse groups and individuals to build solutions, relationships, and resilience in response to the Climate Emergency and social crises. Each centre is autonomous but interconnected with a broader network across the UK, sharing skills, resources, and knowledge.
