Description
Commons Stack builds technical tools and cultural frameworks to help impact initiatives transform into decentralized, regenerative, self-governing communities. They operate at the intersection of culture and token engineering, guiding organizations in creating structures that promote active participation, cooperation, and accountability. Their approach is based on four pillars: applied research that integrates learnings from commons scholars and web3 technologies; a library of modular, interoperable tools like the Augmented Bonding Curve and Conviction Voting to enable communities to create regenerative token economies; cultural frameworks for holistic governance; and an economics co-design process that fosters inclusion and transparency. As an open-source project, they champion radical openness, building in public to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual respect to drive social and technological advancements.
