Communa is building a freelance marketplace focused on transparency and fairness, giving both clients and freelancers tools to manage and truly own their work. The platform offers an open-source, MIT-licensed desktop TimeTracker app that runs in the background to automatically record working hours, displaying totals in the system tray, with keystroke, mouse movement, and screenshot logging planned for future releases. Payments are handled via escrow in cryptocurrencies such as USDT and USDC on an Ethereum-like blockchain, enabling fast, low-cost, and independent transactions across 100+ currencies globally. The platform also plans to launch the Communa Token, a utility token used for payments, rewards/incentives, platform governance, and access to premium features. Reputation is managed on-chain by publishing job contracts as NFTs referencing time tracking, invoices, and payments, giving freelancers full control over their verified work history. Communa is also aligned with the TON Foundation's goals, offering a Telegram Mini App to onboard freelancers and turn Telegram into a global freelance peer-to-peer marketplace.
