Creditcoin is a Layer 1 blockchain network focused on real-world assets (RWAs) and financial inclusion, particularly in emerging markets. It provides infrastructure for financial institutions to offer microloans by building on-chain credit reputations for individuals and small businesses. Through its partnership with Aella, it has facilitated the disbursement of over 100B Naira in loans to more than 2 million Nigerians. The platform aims to connect the unbanked to financial services, provide decentralized satellite-based internet through Spacecoin, and build a social ecosystem with consumer apps and games. Creditcoin also hosts 'Cafe GM' events at crypto conferences to foster community and networking.
