Description

CESS (Cumulus Encrypted Storage System) is a decentralized data infrastructure and blockchain-powered data value network designed for the Web3 data economy. It provides secure, transparent, and traceable data solutions for various sectors, including AI, DeSci (Decentralized Science), RWA (Real World Assets), and Enterprise applications. CESS offers a full-stack solution for data storage and distribution, featuring services like DeOSS (Decentralized Object Storage Service), DeShare, DeCloud, and CESS AI-LINK. Key technical features include Proxy Re-Encryption for secure data sharing, millisecond-level data retrieval via its Content Delivery Network (CD²N), federated learning for privacy-preserving AI model training, and a Proof of Data Reduplication and Recovery (PoDR²) mechanism to ensure data integrity and availability. Since its inception in 2019, the project has been driven by a diverse global team of cryptographers, data storage experts, and computer science engineers.
