Description
DECENTRAL is a community-run Burning Man camp focused on decentralization, blockchain, and frontier technologies, organized not by a single owner but by committees of dedicated members who collectively plan, build, and operate the camp. It provides food, water, shower access, internet, shiftpod and bike rentals, geodesic domes, a communal kitchen, and shared community space to its campers, who are expected to contribute labor during build, operations, and strike, and to pay sliding-scale camp dues of $1100-$1500 in stable cryptocurrency to cover food, water, electricity, decorations, infrastructure, and Burning Man fees. The camp is part of the Anahasana Village campus alongside Camp Contact and Naked Heart, and has close ties to its former sister art car camp BlockHaus, as well as a partnership with the Cold Yogis camp for shared infrastructure and meals.
