Democracy Earth Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that develops tools for a borderless democracy. Their key projects include Proof of Humanity, a decentralized human identity system for Ethereum blockchains that is self-sovereign, privacy-preserving, and perpetually verifiable. This system enables the distribution of UBI, a Universal Basic Income token, streamed to verified human profiles. They also offer Humanitarian Vaults, where users can stake crypto (ETH or DAI) to earn interest via Yearn Finance. Half of the yield generated is used to buy and burn UBI tokens, reducing its supply.
