Crypto Portfolio Report is a Digital Gold Institute service for reconstructing the transaction, tax, and documentary history of crypto-asset portfolios. It collects and reconciles records from exchanges, platforms, and wallets with on-chain analysis, identifies inconsistencies or documentation gaps, and prepares a signed technical report covering transaction history, asset origin and traceability, tax considerations, and historical cost basis. OpenTimestamps defines operations for creating provable blockchain timestamps and verifying them independently of any particular server, vendor, or centralized infrastructure. Its calendar servers aggregate document hashes into Merkle trees and attest their roots on a blockchain. The linked Digital Gold Institute interface lets users timestamp files, upgrade .ots submission receipts, and verify attestation proofs using free public Bitcoin calendar servers and public Bitcoin block explorers; timestamping demonstrates prior existence but does not prove authorship, validity, or truthfulness.Category: Developer Tooling
