Description

Dual is the latest, fully decentralized evolution of a protocol that has powered programmable token deployments for Fortune 500 brands since 2017, previously delivered via the SmartMedia Technologies platform for companies like VISA, Verizon, PepsiCo, Unilever, and Accenture. The protocol lets every token carry its own embedded logic, on-chain identity, and autonomous lifecycle, moving assets through four layers — asset, logic, compliance, and integration — until they become verified, programmable, composable financial instruments with tamper-proof records on Ethereum. It targets a wide range of asset types including real-world assets, loyalty points, treasuries, tickets and access, certificates and digital product passports, and agentic commerce use cases. Dual serves enterprises seeking scalable, compliance-ready infrastructure, developers wanting easy-to-use SDKs and chain-agnostic tooling, and institutions requiring governance controls, policy enforcement, and auditability. The programmable token protocol is currently live on testnet, with contracts open source and an SDK documented, as the team works toward mainnet launch, governance, staking, and cross-chain asset portability in 2026.
