Description
Boba Network is a layer 2 optimistic rollup built on Ethereum that provides EVM-compatible execution with lower fees and higher transaction throughput. The network is based on the Optimism Bedrock codebase (Boba Anchorage upgrade) and includes Hybrid Compute, a feature that allows smart contracts to make direct API calls to off-chain services and run computations outside the chain, with results returned on-chain. ERC-4337 account abstraction is supported natively through a bundler, enabling smart contract accounts, paymaster-sponsored gas, and configurable transaction validation. Transaction fees can be paid in ETH or BOBA.Category: L2
