ETHAccra is an active and inclusive community in Ghana, West Africa, bringing together developers, researchers, designers, and newcomers interested in web3 and blockchain technologies. It positions Accra as a potential hub for Ethereum-driven innovation in West Africa, organizing a free-to-attend, in-person hackathon (with teams of up to 5 people) featuring workshops, exclusive networking events, and prize pools funded by sponsors. The event brings together university students, aspiring blockchain developers, seasoned web3 builders, and individuals with project management or UI/UX skills, and has been held annually, including a 2023 edition at the University of Ghana, Legon, and subsequent 2024 and 2025 editions with sponsors, speakers, judges, and mentors from organizations such as ENS Labs, Base, Lisk, Celo Foundation, Ethereum Foundation, and Filecoin.Grant Funding
