Ethereum Name Service
The Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a decentralized, open, and extensible naming system on the Ethereum blockchain. It simplifies Web3 by allowing users to replace complex cryptocurrency addresses with human-readable names (e.g., 'yourname.eth'). As a community-driven non-profit and public good, ENS is governed by the ENS DAO, where holders of the $ENS token can vote on proposals or delegate their votes to shape the future of the protocol.
