Description

Eudaimonia Institute provides online and in-person courses centered on understanding and responding to the global metacrisis, defined as the deep root causes—crises of sensemaking, meaning-making, and worldview—that underlie the interconnected ecological, technological, political, economic, and ethical crises of our time (the polycrisis). Its course 'The Global Metacrisis & Radical Planetary Flourishing' guides students through the concepts, emergence, and structural dynamics of the metacrisis, drawing on philosophy, systems and complexity science, developmental psychology, indigenous wisdom, and integrative metatheory, while engaging leading frameworks for wise, coherent, and compassionate responses. The course is currently offered as part of the California Institute of Human Science Doctoral Program (2025), taught by Nicholas Hedlund. The institute serves students and learners seeking transformative education and worldview-level change, primarily through academic and self-enrolled participants who sign up for course updates via its website.
