Filancore GmbH is a German company (founded 2019, converted to GmbH in 2021) that builds Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) infrastructure to replace traditional PKI. Its filancore Sentinel platform, together with the Ankrypt (access control), Records (data provenance) and Over-the-air (secure firmware update) modules, gives people, organisations and IoT/machine devices verifiable, decentralized, cryptographically-anchored identities. Filancore GmbH, founded in 2019 and converted to a GmbH in 2021, develops a "Beyond PKI" sovereign identity infrastructure aimed at replacing traditional Public Key Infrastructure with decentralized, self-sovereign identity (SSI) solutions for people, machines/things, and organisations. Its core platform, filancore Sentinel, provides identity and credential management (build, onboard, control) for large-scale IoT deployments, while supplementary modules extend the offering: Ankrypt provides on-device, decentralized machine-to-machine and machine-to-people access control; Records offers tamper-proof data provenance and integrity verification anchored on distributed ledgers; and Over-the-air enables certificate-free, verifiable-credential-based firmware update validation (integrated with tools like SWUpdate).
