FreedomGPT provides a desktop application (available for Windows and Mac) that aggregates responses from ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, and hundreds of other AI models, including both uncensored/open-source models and censored proprietary models. Users can access 400+ AI models privately, with FreedomGPT obfuscating user activity so AI providers cannot tie usage back to an individual's identity, similar to a VPN. The platform features a dynamic AI leaderboard driven by user votes: when a user asks a question, they see two AI responses side by side and vote for the better answer, which updates personal and global rankings across hundreds of subcategories. An 'Auto' setting uses this ranking data to automatically select the best AI model for a given task, so users are always upgraded to the best available AI without needing to sign up for multiple separate AI services.
