Givepact is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building philanthropic infrastructure for the internet, bridging the gap between Web 3 and social impact. It allows users to donate over 30 cryptocurrencies to any of the 500,000+ U.S. nonprofits on its platform. The process is quick and easy: after a donation is made from a crypto wallet, a tax receipt is issued. A smart contract automatically splits the donation: 95% goes to the chosen nonprofit, 4% to Givepact, INC, and 1% to the Givepact DAO Treasury. The crypto is immediately converted to cash to preserve its USD value and sent to the nonprofit via check or direct deposit.
