Handle.Fi

handle.fi is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol that enables users to trade, convert, borrow, and earn using various financial instruments, including FOREX-pegged tokens (fxTokens). The protocol operates on multiple blockchains like Arbitrum, Ethereum, and Polygon, and its core functionality is managed through a set of smart contracts for vault logic, loans, minting, and collateral management.

Description

handle.fi is the global defi FX protocol where users can trade, swap, borrow, and earn with crypto, FX, and multi-currency stablecoins backed by Ethereum and more. The platform allows trading of decentralised perpetuals with up to 100x leverage. Key features include multi-collateral support to optimise asset utility and capital efficiency, a protocol-controlled value program for collateral optimisation to generate additional returns, efficient keeper pool-based partial vault liquidations, and governance through the $FOREX token which also underpins rewards and ecosystem stability. The handle protocol consists of four main contracts which contain the core functions required for performing vault logic around loans, minting and collateral. These contracts are the Handle contract, the Treasury contract, the Comptroller contract and the VaultLibrary contract. The rest of the contracts may be divided into two subgroups: collateral health (liquidations and redemptions) and investment strategies (the protocol-controlled treasury, PCT), and also the Interest contract.
