Hologram Web was a browser-based avatar application and embeddable plugin built by Hologram Labs. It allowed users to try on or stream as virtual characters, while the associated web studio let artists import Live2D or glTF/GLB 3D character models and test Hologram’s face tracking. It belonged to Hologram’s wallet- and NFT-enabled digital-identity ecosystem but was distinct from Hologram Studio and Hologram Extension. Holo Extension is Hologram Labs’ Chrome extension for appearing as an owned virtual character on browser-based video services such as Google Meet, Discord, Gather, and Slack. It supports Web3-wallet login, performs real-time avatar tracking locally in the browser, and includes live voice-pitch modulation. The Chrome Web Store identifies version 0.2.33 as beta, last updated July 13, 2024, and currently offers it for installation.Category: Social Platform
