Description
Humanode is a Layer 1 blockchain network that aims to solve the problem of centralization in traditional Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake systems. Its core innovation is a Sybil resistance mechanism based on private biometric verification, ensuring that each validator node is operated by a unique human being. This establishes a democratic and decentralized network on the principle of '1 human = 1 node = 1 vote', where all participants have equal power in validation, fee distribution, and governance. The Humanode technology stack is built on the Substrate framework and includes an EVM-compatible smart-contract layer, decentralized liveness detection with over 60 AI modules, and private biometric search and matching. Key products offered include the Humanode Protocol, Biomapper for dApp integration, BotBasher for protecting Discord and Telegram communities from bots, an OAuth 2.0 service for integrating biometric verification, and a Confidential Virtual Machine for private computations.
