JADE Protocol operated as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) with governance conducted via community proposals and voting. Following the approval of Community Improvement Proposal 7 (CIP-7) on October 10, 2023, the DAO voted to dissolve itself and distribute the value of its treasury back to $JADE tokenholders in proportion to their holdings at the time of distribution. The website now primarily serves as a claim portal where tokenholders can connect their wallet to redeem their share of the distributed treasury value, subject to sanctions screening.
