Kaia is an EVM-compatible L1 blockchain created through the merger of Klaytn and Finschia. The platform provides fast block times with immediate finality and high throughput capacity. Built with account abstraction and gas fee delegation, Kaia integrates directly with KakaoTalk and LINE messengers to serve users across Asia. The blockchain launched in 2024 following community approval of the merger proposal.
