Description

Katana is a DeFi-focused blockchain built around the concept of productive capital: bridged assets deposited via Vault Bridge are deployed into yield strategies on Ethereum, generating real revenue (over $3M since launch) that flows back into the ecosystem. 100% of net sequencer fees are recycled into Chain-Owned Liquidity (CoL), a protocol-owned liquidity pool that deepens core markets and improves execution. The network concentrates liquidity and incentives into a focused set of 'Core Apps' (one per DeFi primitive) to avoid fragmentation, and features AUSD, a native stablecoin backed by offchain U.S. Treasuries issued by Agora with reserves custodied by State Street and managed by VanEck. Users can stake KAT for vKAT to direct incentives across eligible pools and earn a share of fees and vote incentives. Katana serves DeFi users, liquidity providers, and applications looking to bootstrap on deep baseline liquidity rather than isolated token emissions.
