Description
Katana Inu is an on-chain multiplayer action game that combines Free2Play and Play & Earn models, featuring fast-paced, third-person sword and spell combat. The project emphasizes a Play-To-Own approach, aiming to bridge Web2 and Web3 gaming by offering a fair and competitive experience where in-game items are purely cosmetic. Players can compete globally, climb ranks, collect rare NFTs, and participate in tournaments and esports leagues. The ecosystem is powered by its native $KATA token, used for in-game purchases and required for the Play & Earn system, and includes a native cross-chain NFT marketplace. The primary game mode will be a Battle-Royale for up to 60 players, with other modes like 1v1 and 3v3 also planned. The project, led by CEO Marwan Haddad, has recently undergone a major technical migration to Unreal Engine 5 to enhance scalability and is actively developing new features like a player progression system and class-based characters, with an open beta planned for the near future.
