The Keep team builds tBTC and contributes to Threshold, the network merger between Keep and NuCypher. Threshold empowers user sovereignty on the public blockchain with access to a suite of threshold cryptographic tools that ensure full control over your digital assets. The Keep team is building tBTCv2 on Threshold. It is a decentralized bridge to bring BTC to the Ethereum network; the only permissionless solution on the market today.

Description

Originally, Keep Network provided privacy-focused infrastructure for public blockchains, using off-chain containers called 'Keeps' to allow smart contracts to use private data without exposing it. Keep Network has since merged with NuCypher to create the Threshold Network. Threshold is a decentralized network providing cryptographic primitives for web3 applications, governed by the Threshold DAO. Its flagship products include tBTC, a decentralized and permissionless bridge to bring Bitcoin to Ethereum, and Threshold Access Control (TACo) for encrypted data sharing. The project aims to enhance user sovereignty, privacy, and security across different blockchains.
