Description

Kima Finance (also referred to as Kima Network) is a cutting-edge distributed financial protocol designed to facilitate secure, efficient, and seamless transactions across various ecosystems. Using native EOAs as pools, Light Clients, Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), Threshold Signature Schemes (TSS), and an innovative liquidity management system, Kima provides a Universal Payment Rail (UPR) for instant, atomic transfers across stablecoins, fiat, and CBDCs; Liquidity as a Service (LaaS) for real-time liquidity routing; a Delivery-vs-Payment (DvP) mechanism for settling real-world assets on-chain; and a Universal Message Conduit (UMC) for secure Web2/Web3 data exchange. Its Cosmos SDK-based blockchain uses a committee of 'wardens' with threshold signature schemes and SGX-based trusted execution to validate and finalize cross-chain transfers without smart contracts, oracles, or external relayers. Kima targets fintechs, banks, and exchanges seeking compliant, chain-agnostic cross-border payments, on/off-ramp functionality, and treasury/DvP settlement, and has worked with institutions such as the European Central Bank, the Bank of Israel (Digital Shekel Challenge), and Mastercard.
