LayerZero V2

Project Links

Description

LayerZero V2 is an omnichain messaging protocol that facilitates communication between blockchains through immutable smart contract endpoints. The protocol separates message verification and execution, allowing developers to configure Decentralized Verifier Networks and Executors for each message path. It supports arbitrary data transmission, token transfers, and cross-chain contract calls across EVM and non-EVM chains, providing unified semantics for application development regardless of underlying blockchain architecture.

OVault

Project Links

Description

OVault extends the ERC-4626 tokenized vault standard with omnichain functionality, enabling users to deposit assets from any supported chain and receive yield-bearing vault shares on their preferred network. The system uses a hub-and-spoke architecture where the vault resides on a single hub chain while users interact from any spoke chain through LayerZero messaging. Share tokens implement the OFT standard for cross-chain composability, and the OVault Composer orchestrates multi-step deposit and redemption operations across chains.

LzRead

Project Links

Description

lzRead is a data query primitive that enables smart contracts to retrieve onchain state from any supported blockchain through a request-response pattern. Using the ReadLib1002 Message Library, applications send encoded queries to Decentralized Verifier Networks that fetch data from archival nodes and optionally perform compute transformations before returning results. The system supports single-chain queries, multi-chain aggregation, and historical data access across any time period, with configurable security through DVN selection.
