Description

Lifinity is a decentralized exchange protocol on Solana that pioneered the 'proactive market maker' model, using a low-latency price oracle (Pyth) and a proactive rebalancing algorithm to quote trades near true market price instead of relying on arbitrageurs to correct pool prices. Unlike typical AMMs, Lifinity's liquidity is protocol-owned (POL) rather than supplied by external liquidity providers, and its LFNTY token can be locked as veLFNTY to earn a share of protocol fees and voting power. Over its operating history the protocol processed roughly $150B in cumulative trading volume. In December 2025, following a governance vote, Lifinity's DAO approved winding down the protocol due to increased competition from other Solana DEXs, and began distributing its treasury (converted to USDC) to LFNTY token holders, with a claim deadline of December 31, 2026.
