Light Protocol builds Solana infrastructure and APIs centered on ZK Compression, an open-source technology designed to reduce the cost of scaling payments, privacy applications, tokens, and program-derived addresses on Solana. The organization has built high-performance Solana programs since 2021 and launched ZK Compression in 2024 with Helius Labs and the Solana Foundation.
