Livepeer coordinates a global pool of independent GPU providers to deliver real-time AI video inference and media processing. Built on Ethereum for coordination, its protocol routes workloads, handles payment settlement and quality checks, and uses LPT staking to support network security and operator participation. The network serves developers, creative technologists, startups, and independent builders creating AI video applications, avatars, live-streaming products, and video-intelligence tools, as well as GPU providers operating orchestrator nodes.Grant Funding
