Description
Loot is randomized adventurer gear generated and stored on chain. Stats, images, and other functionality are intentionally omitted for others to interpret. The project includes various types of Loot bags: the original 8,000, Synthetic Loot tied to Ethereum addresses, over a million More Loot (mLoot) bags, and Genesis Loot from a collaborative project. The ecosystem is expanded by community-built projects such as Banners (a society layer), Crypts and Caverns (on-chain dungeons), Rings (3D items), Realms (procedurally generated lands), and The Rift (a leveling system). Players can also mint characters and participate in quests like 'a quest' and 'The Crypt'. Loot.foundation is a canonical guidebook for the Lootverse, designed for builders, developers, designers, and storytellers. It aims to create a cohesive universe built on a unified foundation of shared principles, connecting games, lore, art, and stories. The project is based on principles derived from the original on-chain Loot contract and a community-developed meta-timeline, providing resources like the Loot Lore Development Kit (LDK) to help the community build their own interpretations and stories.
