LUKSO is a new layer-1 EVM blockchain, using an unmodified version of Ethereum, built specifically for social, culture, and creator economies. It offers an open, permissionless environment for decentralized applications to thrive. A core feature is the introduction of Universal Profiles, which are smart contract-based accounts that allow users to manage their digital identity, assets, and social interactions in a unified, secure, and user-owned manner, replacing traditional web2 accounts.
