Description
Malda offered a unified lending and borrowing platform that consolidated fragmented Ethereum and Layer 2 assets into one global liquidity pool, giving users a single unified account and interest rate instead of having to manage positions across multiple chains. The protocol used zero-knowledge proof technology to power an asynchronous, interoperable environment intended to deliver Ethereum-grade security for cross-chain lending interactions, allowing users to supply, borrow, repay, and withdraw assets from any supported chain on one platform. Malda underwent audits from Sherlock and Verdise. The protocol has since been sunset, and its codebase has been open-sourced under the MIT License, remaining available for the community to use and build upon.
