Starting in 2008, 9GAG grew to a global audience of 200 million, and now Memeland is their new venture into connecting creators and communities via NFTs and MEMEs. The ecosystem includes several key projects. 'The Captainz' is the premier collection of 9,999 NFTs that grants holders governance in the Memeland DAO and exclusive access to the MEME token and the Treasure Islandz metaverse. 'The Potatoz' is a collection of 9,999 utility-enabled PFPs that act as companions to the Captainz and represent the base-level membership, featuring non-custodial staking. 'MVP (You The Real MVP)' is a limited collection of 420 gold trophies offering premium membership, first access to projects, and utility boosts for other Memeland NFTs.
