Michael Rubin has built several multibillion-dollar direct-to-consumer businesses driven by a passion for business and sports. He is Founder and CEO of Fanatics, a global sports platform reimagining the fan experience across fan gear, collectibles and trading cards (Fanatics Collectibles, including Topps), sports betting and prediction markets (Fanatics Betting & Gaming/Fanatics Sportsbook), and content and media, with 22,000+ employees, 80 offices globally, and roughly $13 billion in expected 2026 revenue. He also created Fanatics Fest and Fanatics Events, the largest network of sports and collector fan events, and pioneered v-commerce (vertical commerce) through Fanatics Commerce, which includes brands like Mitchell & Ness and Lids serving fans, retail partners, professional and collegiate sports leagues, and athletes. Earlier in his career, Rubin founded KPR Sports and Global Sports/GSI Commerce, a multibillion-dollar e-commerce company sold to eBay for $2.4 billion, and later sold ShopRunner to FedEx. Beyond business, Rubin is a dedicated philanthropist and criminal justice reform advocate, co-founding the REFORM Alliance with Meek Mill, Jay-Z, Robert Kraft, and others, and driving the Fanatics partnership with Make-A-Wish America and the viral ALL IN Challenge fundraiser.
