Mirror Planet

Mirror Planet is an "explore-to-earn" GameFi mobile game that combines blockchain, NFTs, augmented reality (AR), and location-based services (LBS). Players use a real-world 3D map overlay to explore, move, socialize, and complete tasks to earn tokens ($MIRO) and NFTs (land, avatars, buildings, skins). It targets crypto/GameFi players, real-world merchants seeking marketing exposure, and other crypto projects looking to integrate with its open ecosystem.

Description

Mirror Planet describes itself as the world's first "explore to earn" GameFi platform, built on blockchain, NFT, AR, and location-based service (LBS) technology. Using a real-world rendering system similar to the tech behind Pokémon Go, it overlays realistic 3D building models onto a Google Maps-based virtual world, letting players move, explore, socialize, and battle to earn the $MIRO token and player-owned utility NFTs such as land, buildings, avatars, skins, and collectables. The game supports multiple player roles — Citizen, Landlord, Merchant, and Mayor — each with distinct ways to earn income, manage property, provide rewards, or govern in-game districts, and it integrates with the broader crypto economy so NFTs and in-game assets can be traded on exchanges. Mirror Planet also aims to bridge real-world merchants and businesses with in-game users via marketing, advertising, community activities, and NFT/voucher airdrops. Core development is handled by SavySoda Studio in Melbourne, an established mobile app and game studio, with additional creative input from Ariginal NFT studio; the team is based out of Boxhill, VIC, Australia, and the project has published a roadmap running from prototype development in Q4 2021 through a planned global launch and regional DAO community formation in Q1 2023.
